IDEAS AND DIFFERENCES?
Make friends with stasis, while the game is locked you can have a nice chat and learn a lot about each other (while you win). Using Howling Mine to help "break the symmetry" of Stasis, you can eventually take infinite turns by looping Twiddles, Regrowth and Timetwister.

By amplifying the Stasis plan and branching off into combo territory it builds on the Zak Dolan school of magic thought of UW control which used Stasis and Serra Angel to overtake the game (a predecessor to what would eventually shift into the Weissman school of magic, and "The Deck").

MEMORIES FROM PLAYING IT?
I won my first Tundra Wolves Monthly event early on in our group's organization by beating an Eureka deck in the semis and an Energy Flux / Underworld Dreams UB deck in the finals. Control magic vs Juzaam is *chefs kiss*

MATCHUPS?
Avoid "The Deck" and make sure you understand the nuance of every card in this deck. Piloted correctly (and avoiding some bad luck draws) you are favored in most matchups.

SIDEBOARD SUGGESTIONS?
Control Magic and Blue Elemental Blast are crucial. In 4 Strip, Hurkyls recall will very likely help a tremendous amount vs nasty prison shops decks. Consider your meta carefully, the goal is to be able to play and protect the Stasis. Prepare for the opponent's focus to be solely on that card.
